Transending adornment into powerful personal expression.

Brand development as bold as the pieces, and people, that wear them.

Sumara Design is as a modernist sculptural jewelry studio that treats adornment as art rather than just accessory. Each piece is handcrafted using the lost-wax casting process, an ancient process emphasizing material, integrity, permanence, and the human hand in contrast to mass-produced, trend-driven jewelry. Sterling silver and ancient bronze are used not for decoration alone, but to convey strength, weight, and longevity—appealing to collectors and design-forward wearers who value intention and individuality.

The brand identity reflects this philosophy through deliberate visual choices. The logo is a stacked and weighty wordmark featuring rounded corners that echo the sculptural bold forms of the jewelry itself, creating a direct visual connection between the brand and object. Including the use of all-caps with lower case typography aligns with the assertive nature of the pieces, reinforcing presence and authority while the use of bold and saturated colors are woven into every touchpoint to convey energy, power, and presence.

Featuring the products on colored backgrounds reads as more editorial, design-driven, and self-assured, than the traditional safe white backgrounds.

Together, these elements create a clear connection between the brand and the design-forward individuals who wear it.

Resulting in a cohesive, intentional brand system rooted in form, material, and attitude.
